Academy policy: Payment Does Not Guarantee Team Placement.
At our organization, we prioritize fairness and meritocracy in team selection processes. We understand that parents may have concerns regarding their child's inclusion on a team, particularly if they have made financial contributions to our organization. However, we want to clarify that payment alone does not guarantee a spot on any team within our program. Here's how our policy works:
Merit-Based Selection: Team placement is primarily determined by the skills, abilities, and commitment level of the individual player. Our coaches assess players based on their performance, attitude, and potential to contribute positively to the team.
Equal Opportunity: We believe in providing equal opportunities for all participants, regardless of their financial contributions. While fees and donations are vital for sustaining our programs, they do not influence team selection decisions.
Transparency: Our selection process is transparent, and we welcome parents to inquire about the criteria used for team placements. We encourage open communication and value parental input, but ultimately, decisions are based on the best interests of the team and the individual player.
Appeals Process: In rare cases where a parent feels their child has been unfairly excluded from a team despite meeting the necessary criteria, we have an appeals process in place. Parents can submit a formal appeal outlining their concerns, which will be reviewed by a panel to ensure fairness and consistency.
Commitment to Excellence: Our organization is committed to fostering an environment where all players can thrive and develop their skills. Team placement decisions are made with the aim of creating competitive, cohesive teams that represent the values of sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork.
By adhering to these principles, we strive to maintain integrity and fairness in our team selection processes.
